Dabbling in different types of painting has become one of my favorite pastimes.  Exploring different types of mediums is an adventure. Watercolor, charcoal, pastels, acrylics and ink are my favorites, however I would love to try my hand at oil.

I'm finding that the most uplifting way to spend time is by being creative.  Picking up a paintbrush and splashing colors on heavy paper and canvases is now one of my favorite ways to tap in.  With watercolor, it's fast, it's fluid and watching the colors transform a simple piece of paper into a vision that other's can see is gratifying.  With pastels, layers and blending create depth.  Charcoal is a study in light and shading.

The point of posting my paintings is simply to share my experience centered around the journey of creativity.

Here are a few of my favorites.
